Michelle L. Truong, D.D.S.

Dr. Truong considers herself fortunate to be a dentist in today's age, where she can utilize advanced technology to provide care for her patients. She takes great pleasure in restoring smiles, removing tartar, and alleviating toothaches. Although she enjoys all aspects of dentistry, her passion lies in orthodontics, specifically using aligners to straighten crowded teeth, close spaces, and achieve a balanced bite, allowing for easier cleaning and the desired smile for her patients. At our office, we employ a state-of-the-art intraoral scanner that utilizes AI technology to design the perfect individualized smile and bite for our patients. Having a positive impact on someone's health and life is a constant motivation for her.

Dr. Truong received her dental education at UTHSC in Houston, where she spent her pre-kindergarten to post-graduate years. When she is not at the office, she can be found enjoying the hill country life with her family, husband Chris of 20 years, their 3 teenage kids - Ian, Evan, and Emily, and their blue heeler, Azul, or TRAVELING!  Having visited a couple of dozen countries, she's usually planning a trip to a different one to reach her goal of seeing 50 countries by 2030.

Where will her next adventure take her? Ecuador in Summer 2023!

Dr. Truong was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the US as a toddler, and is fluent in the Vietnamese language. She is currently learning Spanish and practices speaking it when she can. Dr. Truong welcomes you to Banyan Tree Dental!
